Project Name: When Ammenity Meets Preference

Project Design Layout: L-Shaped

Project Materials Description: The materials we used on this outdoor kitchen were manufactured by Blaze Grills. Toting a 42-quart roll-out trash bin and 4.1 cubic foot outdoor-rated refrigerator, we also equipped it with the appropriate amount of storage space on each side of his existing grill.

An outdoor kitchen is sometimes meant to serve a greater purpose than becoming a place to do. It’s our place to be. Sometimes it’s a release, our reprieve from everyday life and the stresses endured as we provide for our family or selves. It’s our ocean where the tides clear our minds of any debris that can’t seem to disintegrate from the beach. It can be our second home, our thinking space where we time travel into grace and wisdom. That umbrella that overhangs us means more to us than the shade it creates, it’s an accessory where we can teleport ourselves in those slow moments, those thoughtful moments, those reflective moments. Idle and happy we are as we sit beneath that little red star. Just watching. Being.

Custom Outdoor Kitchen Beneath a Red Star

Located just outside the covered lanai is where we lay our keep. Our customer wanted to incorporate his existing grill and cart in the center of this gorgeous summer kitchen. He also wanted a sink and icemaker which naturally meant running plumbing to the new base. After creating our blueprint for operation, we began constructing a small kitchen base to the left of the grill with a built-in single-access door for storage. The remainder of the L-shaped kitchen was to the right. Keeping variety in mind, this outdoor kitchen was designed with an 18″ bartop in the event company joined beneath that red star. We cut a custom hole in the granite and, on the interior, braced the umbrella to provide it with the stability necessary for all weather conditions. Further customizations consisted of making both the countertop and bartop curved on the opposite side of the sink. We were more than happy to accommodate his request.
