This elegant outdoor kitchen was designed and built for a Layton Grande home, featuring the popular layout option with the master bedroom door opening onto the lanai. Measuring just 8 feet 10 inches in length, this kitchen proves that you don’t need an oversized footprint to achieve exceptional functionality and style. When clients ask, “What should we include in our outdoor kitchen?” our go-to foundation always begins with the essential four: a grill, sink, refrigerator, and vent hood. From there, we tailor every project to the space and homeowner’s lifestyle. In this installation, smart spatial planning was key. By positioning the refrigerator to the right of the grill, we were able to provide the homeowner with 10 square feet of uninterrupted counter space-ideal for food prep, plating, and serving guests. To the left of the grill, we integrated a 14½-inch wide undermount sink, paired with a Delta high-arc faucet and matching soap dispenser, offering both convenience and a clean, refined aesthetic.
To complement the modern architecture of the home, we selected a TrueFlame 32″ grill and a Trade-Wind 36″ pyramid vent hood. The TrueFlame’s sleek, defined lines and the pyramid hood’s geometric symmetry create a cohesive, contemporary look that feels right at home with the property’s design.
For cooling and storage, we included the Blaze 5.5 cubic foot glass-front refrigerator, a stylish and functional choice that doubles as a wine chiller. With its combination of beech wood and glass shelving, it brings a touch of luxury and versatility to the space.
The entire kitchen structure is finished in a stucco façade with a sand-textured finish, further enhancing the home’s modern character while maintaining durability against Florida’s coastal elements.
This project showcases how thoughtful design and premium materials can transform even a modest space into a fully functional, visually striking outdoor kitchen-a perfect example of Elegant Outdoor Kitchens’ commitment to craftsmanship, balance, and beauty in every build.
