This recent installation in TerraWalk at Babcock Ranch, built within a Stardom floorplan by DiVosta, is a perfect example of how thoughtful design and premium materials can transform a lanai into a fully functional outdoor culinary space.
Stardom floorplan Project Overview
This custom outdoor kitchen measures 8 feet 7 inches in length, offering a compact yet highly efficient layout tailored for both everyday use and entertaining. Despite its streamlined footprint, it incorporates high-end appliances, durable finishes, and custom fabrication details that maximize both performance and visual appeal.
Premium Appliance Package
A key highlight of this project is the integration of industry-leading outdoor kitchen appliances, carefully selected for durability, performance, and style:
- Tradewind 36” Outdoor Hood (S7200 Series) with internal blowers for powerful ventilation
- Blaze 32” LTE Plus Grill, delivering exceptional cooking performance
- Blaze 32” Drawer/Door Combo conveniently installed beneath the grill
- Blaze Single Vertical Access Door located under the sink for additional storage
- Undermount Sink with High-Arc Faucet and Soap Dispenser for added convenience and functionality
To complement the hood system, a custom stainless steel stack chase was fabricated, ensuring proper ventilation while maintaining a clean, polished appearance.
Behind the grill, we installed a custom stainless steel 3D backsplash (36” W x 36” H x 1 ¼” D), providing both protection and a striking visual focal point.
Stone & Countertop Finishes
The aesthetic of this outdoor kitchen is defined by its elegant combination of natural stone and granite:
- Stacked Stone Façade: Silver Travertine
- Countertops: Level 1 Uba Tuba granite
- Edge Detail: ½” bevel edge
- Backsplash: Standard 8” granite backsplash
To create a cohesive and upscale look, we extended the Silver Travertine stacked stone backsplash from the top of the granite backsplash all the way to the ceiling. This full-height application enhances the visual impact and adds texture to the space.
Additionally, the stone was carefully installed within the slider track area, extending from the top of the track to the bottom of the header. This ensures complete wall coverage and a seamless, built-in appearance.

Like all Elegant Outdoor Kitchens projects, this installation was built using our proven custom framing system, the same method used in high-end model homes such as Pulte’s Stellar model in Verdana Village.
