Homeowners often assume that if their new construction home did not include an outdoor kitchen rough-in, their options are limited. This custom outdoor kitchen project proves otherwise.
For this Yorkshire floorplan, the original home design did not feature an outdoor kitchen rough-in. Elegant Outdoor Kitchens of Southwest Florida designed and constructed a custom 8’8″ outdoor kitchen that seamlessly integrated with the existing lanai architecture, creating a finished appearance that looks as though it was part of the home’s original construction.
Custom Design Tailored to the Yorkshire Floorplan
To maximize the available space between the existing exterior wall and support column, we constructed a custom two-tier cabinet system.
The upper tier was finished at a 9-inch depth to match the dimensions of a typical block wall, helping the installation blend naturally with the surrounding structure. The second tier was also built approximately 8 inches above the countertop height, creating an ideal backsplash area while allowing room for the installation of an upper electrical outlet.
The result is a highly functional outdoor kitchen with a clean, built-in appearance that complements the home’s existing design.

This custom outdoor kitchen was equipped with premium Blaze Outdoor Products components, centered around the popular Blaze 32″ LTE Plus Series Grill.

At the heart of this project is the Blaze 32″ LTE Plus Series Grill, a premium stainless steel gas grill designed for serious outdoor cooking enthusiasts. As part of our installation process, Elegant Outdoor Kitchens performed the required leak testing of both the grill and the 20-pound LP tank supplied by our team to ensure safe operation and proper functionality.
