This summer outdoor kitchen, like many others we have done, was planned long in advance with everything designed prior to visiting the home and prior to the owner’s closing on the home. We have built so many outdoor kitchens in WCI homes, that it is a simple process for us to look up the floorplan and understand what to expect from a marketing brochure. Planning this outdoor kitchen for an Islamorada layout was a breeze.

When the meeting at the home did take place, it was just to confirm the size of the space and to select the stacked stone color. From there, we went with the owner’s directly to the granite yard. The owners went with light colors, Light Travertine stacked stone & an upgraded Colonial Cream granite. This made for an outdoor kitchen with an overall look that is easy on the eyes!

The Blaze products that were installed were the 4.1 CU FT outdoor rated refrigerator with trim kit, a 3-burner 25” grill with the corresponding 25” double door underneath, a slide-in double burner and a single vertical door beneath the undermount sink. The high-arc faucet that we use has a detachable head and is magnetic so that it stays in place and does not sag.
