This custom outdoor kitchen was designed and manufactured for one of our fellow Riverdale High School Alum. It can be summed as a sleek and elegant custom barbecue island that’s built for grilling. It was built in a linear layout configuration, which puts everything conveniently within reach. We’ve once again paired up the dynamic duo, the extremely popular Silver Travertine stacked stone and the Dallas White granite. It just looks amazing! It really gives it a modern and sophisticated look. You really can’t go wrong with this choice of materials. We opted for a 3” backsplash and a built-in sink and faucet. The sink in seamlessly integrated into this custom outdoor kitchen and makes washing up after handling meat a breeze.As far as the components go, we installed a Blaze 32” Professional Barbecue Grill that kicks out a whopping 66,000 BTU’s. You’ll have no problem grilling that thick cut Porterhouse steak you love so much. This grill delivers both the cooking power and the finesse needed to get your cow the way you like it. The Blaze 32” 4-Burner is one of our most popular built-in grills that we install. We also integrated a double access door, a single access door underneath the built-in sink as well as a 4.1 CU FT outdoor rated refrigerator. The outdoor rated refrigerator is another one of those “must have” components. Allowing our client just the right amount of cold storage in their new outdoor kitchen area. It really does reduce the back & forth between the kitchens. It’s a time saver and super convenient. We also installed a Trade-Wind 36” Ventilation Hood to clear out any excess smoke from the grill. This was our first custom kitchen in Corkscrew Shores, a Pulte Homes community in Southwest Florida. This is one of three custom barbecue islands we constructed in a 3-week timespan. We refer to this 3-kitchen build, within a 3-week timespan as “The Trifecta”. It was a unique experience here at Elegant Outdoor Kitchens.
We designed this custom barbecue island with classic color tones in mind. It truly has a traditional look and feel. We constructed it to fit an existing wall of this beautiful residential home in Corkscrew Shores. We paired the Golden White Stacked Stone with a Giallo Ornamental Granite. It really turned out nice. We apologize for the blurry photos, but take our word for it, it turned out amazing.
Bull components included: Angus 4-burner grill with double door access, a trash pullout, bottle opener, single door access under the sink, outdoor rated Premium refrigerator. There is also a Kitchen Aid ice maker. We used Giallo Ornamental Granite, combined with a Golden White Stacked Stone for the finishing materials.

This custom outdoor kitchen really turned out nice! We manufactured it for our clients in Materita, which is located in Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers, Florida. We used a beautiful special order stacked stone on this project, combining it with a Peacock Green granite that you can see in the project photos. We added some variable color LED accent lighting underneath the counter-tops too. The LED lighting looks super nice once the sun goes down, it really gives the project another level of aesthetic appeal. We used a combination of components on this custom barbecue island design, we have the Bull trash pullout and access door, the drawer/door combo as well as the double access doors under the sink. The 30” Bull Angus grill is the centerpiece of this custom kitchen.

This outdoor kitchen isn’t the largest we’ve ever built but we must admit, it has a certain style about it. Great things do come in smaller packages. The Barocco White Granite really makes the Golden White Stacked Stone pop! As mentioned earlier in the article, the granite has tons of character, the base is a mix of creamy tones and some cooler tones depending on the area, it also has a lot of purple that runs through it. An aesthetic pairing that truly looks remarkable. It really does look super clean and beautiful. We decided to seal the stacked stone, which tends to give it a wet look all year around. The backsplash is 36” high, leading up to a Trade-Wind Stainless-Steel hood. The built-in Trade-Wind hood & custom vent cover was installed to ensure ventilation in the covered area. It’s always a good idea to install a hood and ventilation system in situations like this.
We installed a Blaze 32” Professional 4-Burner Barbecue Grill, double access door, single access door and 4.1 CU FT refrigerator for cold storage. We also built-in a custom sink & faucet system that allows for quick and easy clean-up after handling raw meat. A Premium Custom Outdoor Kitchen Build in Estero, Florida
This L-Shaped custom barbecue island by Elegant Outdoor Kitchens turned out amazing. The L-shaped design allows for an increase in counter space for food preparation, along with adding a bar height seating area for guests. The design allowed us to comfortably install additional outdoor kitchen components for our clients as well. Our customers liked it so much that they invited us back to dine with them after its completion.
The L-Shaped BBQ Island project took around 3 weeks to complete, it had its fair share of normal complications during the construction process. Since the customer didn’t have any of the needed electrical, plumbing or an existing wall to build from, elements that we so often see in the newer homes. We coordinated with additional contractors to run the proper plumbing, electrical, and gas needed for the project. This outdoor kitchen project was built in the Toll Brothers community known as the Reserve at Estero, which is in Estero, Florida.
The customers opted for a huge array of outdoor kitchen components for their kitchen. The only thing missing here is the professional chef that prepares the meal. We added some custom LED lighting under the custom cabinetry too. Completing the look that this outdoor living space was built for and that’s entertainment! Which is something we witnessed first-hand when we were invited back for a BBQ with the homeowner and their friends. The following Bull components were used in this outdoor kitchen: 32” Bull Angus grill, with a door/drawer combo under the grill, a single access door under the sink, a trash pullout, double access doors for additional storage and the Bull’s Premium Outdoor Rated refrigerator. This custom barbecue island by Elegant Outdoor Kitchens is stylish and unique. We opted for a traditional linear layout for the island but designed the backsplash to be a little different from our usual designs. We designed it to have a standard run of the mill 4” St. Cecilia granite backsplash. Adding a little aesthetic twist in the form of a 24” granite radius that’s located directly behind the grill. The circular granite backsplash truly gives it a nice touch. We paired the St. Cecilia granite countertop with the Silver Travertine fascia as seen in the gallery. The overall look, design, layout, and choice of materials ended up hitting the mark in every way. The clients are extremely happy with their custom barbecue island by Elegant Outdoor Kitchens.
The components we installed were all manufactured by Blaze, an extremely popular professional barbecue grill & component company. The Blaze 32” 4-burner Professional Barbecue Grill is one of the most popular grill brands that we install in our custom barbecue island designs. The grill is beautiful, durable, and reliable. We also installed a 4.1 CU FT Outdoor Rated Refrigerator, outdoor sink, as well as a single and double access door. This particular outdoor kitchen design and the installed components eliminates any back & forth trips to the indoor kitchen during the prep and grilling process. There’s really no need for it.
