Traditional to the Elegant Outdoor Kitchens style, we have another beautiful and compact outdoor kitchen. Don’t let the size fool you though. This outdoor kitchen has everything the homeowner needs to enjoy a meal that’s prepared outdoors. Our clients opted for a beautiful combination of materials. The Golden White Stacked Stone was used as fascia for the surrounding sides. While we used the Giallo Granite for the counter-top area and the 4” backsplash.
This particular outdoor kitchen has everything they need when it comes to aesthetics and functionality. When it comes to grilling functionality, we installed a Blaze 40” 5- Burner Professional Grill. The Blaze 40” grill has just the right grilling area, perfect for intimate dinners as well as full on parties and gatherings. We also installed a Blaze Outdoor Refrigerator, 39” Triple Drawer/Door Combo storage area, Single Access Door, as well as sink & faucet area. Like we said, it’s compact but packs a performance punch.

This custom barbecue island by Elegant Outdoor Kitchens is stylish and unique. We opted for a traditional linear layout for the island but designed the backsplash to be a little different from our usual designs. We designed it to have a standard run of the mill 4” St. Cecilia granite backsplash. Adding a little aesthetic twist in the form of a 24” granite radius that’s located directly behind the grill. The circular granite backsplash truly gives it a nice touch. We paired the St. Cecilia granite countertop with the Silver Travertine fascia as seen in the gallery. The overall look, design, layout, and choice of materials ended up hitting the mark in every way. The clients are extremely happy with their custom barbecue island by Elegant Outdoor Kitchens.
The components we installed were all manufactured by Blaze, an extremely popular professional barbecue grill & component company. The Blaze 32” 4-burner Professional Barbecue Grill is one of the most popular grill brands that we install in our custom barbecue island designs. The grill is beautiful, durable, and reliable. We also installed a 4.1 CU FT Outdoor Rated Refrigerator, outdoor sink, as well as a single and double access door. This particular outdoor kitchen design and the installed components eliminates any back & forth trips to the indoor kitchen during the prep and grilling process. There’s really no need for it. They have outdoor refrigeration, dry storage, and a sink with running water that allows them to wash up. The overall project turned out very nice. This outdoor kitchen was completed in beautiful Corkscrew Shores by Pulte Homes. The Silver Travertine (unsealed) & Dallas White granite has been the most popular combo of stone and granite that we have installed. It has a nice soft look that should age well over the years as trends develop and change. This is a great setup for a customer that wants a nice living space but did not select the outdoor kitchen rough-in or perhaps purchased a spec home that did not come with it. The components included are the Angus grill, with double door access under the grill, trash storage and the Premium outdoor rated refrigerator, all manufactured by Bull BBQ.

Once again, we utilized the classic Golden White stacked stone. Pairing it with a Giallo granite. We also used a 4×4 travertine tile for a timeless backsplash. It gave the overall finished project a very traditional outdoor kitchen aesthetic. Accentuating both the stacked stone and the granite. When it looks good, it looks good. This particular combination really works well together. The client couldn’t have been happier, especially after learning how much everyone else liked it. At Elegant Outdoor Kitchens our primary focus is to make sure our clients love their barbecue island design.
We ran the backsplash up one row higher than the bottom of the hood and topped it with a linear trim tile. The 36” vent hood, Bull 30” 4-burner grill, double and single access doors and outdoor rated refrigerator are all manufactured by Bull. We also installed a custom stainless vent cover.

When it comes to beauty and performance, our clients always receive the highest quality of outdoor kitchen craftsmanship. Even when our schedule is bursting at the seams, and believe us when we say that we were extremely busy at that point in time. During this time, we were finishing up on two additional custom BBQ Island builds in the area. All three of the outdoor kitchen projects were in the Pulte Homes Corkscrew Shores community in Estero. Elegant Outdoor Kitchens works closely with the new housing developments to create amazing outdoor kitchen additions for new home owners.
Forgive the blurry photos, as we mentioned above, we were extremely hard pressed for time at this point. The customer opted for a Silver Travertine Stacked Stone veneer finish, we paired it with a beautiful darker colored granite that had a nice mix of black and brown tones. All the accessories were manufactured by Bull. Those components included a Bull Angus 30” Built-In Liquid Propane Gas Barbecue Grill, a grill that includes 4-Burners and a professional Rotisserie. The grill outputs a whopping 60,000 BTU’s and supports a 30” x 19” cooking surface, plenty of grilling space for those large parties or family gatherings. It also included a pullout/access storage door compartment for the LP (Liquid Propane) tank, a double access door located under the sink, and a Premium Outdoor Rated Refrigerator Unit.

This outdoor kitchen was built in Materita in Pelican Preserve by WCI Communities in Fort Myers. The home featured the summer kitchen rough-in installed by the builder. The kitchen was originally finished and then we were later called back to add the additional stacked stone backsplash.The stacked stone is the Kayla Shimla White. It is a softer looking stone with clean lines and a popular gray base. Some of the individual rock pieces can have a little bit of a green sheen lending character to the stone. This kitchen was topped with a level 2 granite that pulls a lot of the cooler color tones and coordinates well with the grays in the stone. What is nice about this kitchen is the modern look without being overly trendy.
The Bull components installed in this outdoor kitchen were the 30” Angus grill, with a double door access under the grill and single door access under the sink, and Bull’s Premium outdoor rated fridge.
Stacked Stone Sophistication
This BBQ Island design screams sophistication! Is there such a thing as too much stacked stone? We think not! As mentioned above, the customer called us back to add some additional stacked stone to the top portion of the rear wall. It really did make a huge difference in aesthetic appeal. The Kayla Shimla White stacked stone combined with the Level 2 Granite melded superbly. Giving it that soft contemporary stone look that’s sure to make the neighbors jealous. The Bull 30” Angus Barbecue Grill is the perfect size for this particular BBQ Island. Leaving plenty of space to prepare food and layout side dishes for your guests. This really turned out to be a remarkable looking custom outdoor kitchen.
