Elegant Outdoor Kitchens recently completed this custom outdoor kitchen and fireplace installation in Pulte’s Vivid Shores community in Bonita Springs, Florida. Built inside the popular
Madeira Grande floorplan with the Outdoor Living Option, this luxury L-shaped outdoor kitchen was designed for performance, durability, and year-round Southwest Florida
entertaining.

Because this home was pre-plumbed for an outdoor kitchen, we were able to fully customize the space while maximizing layout efficiency, ventilation, and appliance integration.

The result is a high-end outdoor living space overlooking the waterfront — built for cooking, entertaining, and relaxing in true Florida style.

L-Shaped Outdoor Kitchen Design

This custom L-shaped outdoor kitchen in Bonita Springs was designed to create defined cooking, prep, and entertaining zones while maintaining open flow within the covered lanai.

This installation features a premium suite of natural gas appliances selected for durability and performance.

Blaze 30” LTE Plus Gas Griddle (Natural Gas)

The Blaze 30″ LTE Plus Gas Griddle is ideal for:

Integrated lighting enhances nighttime cooking, and the unit was installed with a Blaze insulated jacket to ensure proper heat protection within the cabinetry.

Blaze Professional Series 34” 3-Burner Grill (Natural Gas)

The Blaze Professional 34” Built-In Gas Grill features:

  • Rear infrared burner
  • Heavy-duty stainless steel construction
  • Precision heat control

For safe built-in installation, a Blaze insulated jacket for the 34” grill was installed.

Summerset Hybrid Pizza Oven (Natural Gas or Wood Fired)

The Summerset Hybrid Pizza Oven adds artisan versatility to the space. Installed with a drilled granite pass-through for the natural gas line, this unit allows homeowners to:

Tradewind 36” Outdoor Hood with Internal Blowers

Proper ventilation is essential in covered outdoor kitchens. This build includes:

  • Tradewind 36” S7200 Series Hood

Behind the grill, we fabricated and installed a custom stainless 3D backsplash (36” W x 36” H x 1 ¼” D) for added protection and modern visual appeal.

Blaze 5.5 CU FT Outdoor Refrigerator

This outdoor-rated refrigerator provides convenient cold storage and features a stainless steel door designed to withstand Florida’s climate.

Under-Mount Sink with High-Arc Faucet

The prep station includes:

This project features an 11’7” custom outdoor kitchen installed under the covered lanai option of the Aventura Floor Plan model in Vivid Shores, Bonita Springs. The homeowner wanted a design that felt clean, modern, and coastal while providing everything needed for cooking, entertaining, and outdoor dining.

Because the
Aventura Floor Plan already offers a spacious lanai area, it creates an ideal environment for a linear outdoor kitchen layout. The design allows homeowners to cook comfortably while still keeping the space open for guests and seating areas.

The result is a highly functional outdoor kitchen that blends beautifully with the home’s architecture while maximizing the available lanai space.

Outdoor-Rated Convenience

To complete the space, a 5.5 CU FT Blaze outdoor-rated refrigerator was installed with a matching trim kit for a built-in appearance. This keeps drinks and ingredients close at hand, reducing trips indoors and enhancing the outdoor cooking experience.

Diana Royal Stacked Stone Façade

The exterior of the kitchen is wrapped in Diana Royal Stacked Stone, a sophisticated stone veneer that brings warmth, texture, and visual interest to the design. The neutral tones of Diana Royal Stacked Stone pair beautifully with both stainless steel appliances and natural stone surfaces, making it an excellent choice for Florida outdoor kitchens.

Every great dream kitchen begins with a vision, planning ahead ensures we move smoothly during the construction of your custom outdoor kitchen concept. 

For one homeowner in Verdana Village, the dream of owning a fully equipped, custom outdoor kitchen started not when their home was built, but when it was just a concept on paper. They had just signed a contract with Pulte Homes to build their new residence, and even then, they knew one thing for sure: an Elegant Outdoor Kitchen would be part of it.

The Power of Planning

At Elegant Outdoor Kitchens, we believe the best projects begin long before the first piece of granite is cut or the first appliance is installed. So when this homeowner reached out to us more than 14 months before their kitchen would be completed, we were ready.

We guided them through every stage of the process-from inspiration and planning, to design and final installation. We collaborated through email and phone calls while their home was still a blueprint. We helped them make thoughtful selections, lock in pricing, and secure all the necessary materials well before their closing date.

By the time their home was reaching drywall, everything was already in motion. The moment they closed on their new home, we were ready to bring their dream outdoor kitchen to life.

And in just 30 days on-site, that dream became a reality.

Building Beauty in Verdana Village

The home, a Layton model in the heart of Verdana Village, now features a 12’9″ outdoor kitchen that blends functionality with elegant design. But this isn’t just a list of appliances and stone-it’s the result of smart collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to quality.

When we say “custom”, we mean it.

The Heart of the Kitchen

At the center of this outdoor kitchen is the Blaze 32″ LTE Plus Grill, a true powerhouse for any serious home chef. Ventilated by a Tradewind 36″ Hood with internal blowers, the grill area is framed with a custom stainless stack chase and a 3D stainless steel backsplash that adds both protection and style.

Beneath the grill, we installed a Blaze drawer/door combo for convenient storage. Every inch of this kitchen was designed to make cooking outdoors feel effortless and enjoyable.

Clean, Cold, and Convenient

No outdoor kitchen is complete without running water-and this one features an undermount sink paired with the sleek and modern Delta Capertee high-arc faucet, complete with a built-in soap dispenser.

To the right, a 5.5 cu. ft. outdoor-rated refrigerator keeps drinks and ingredients cool-even during the peak of Florida’s summer. It’s finished with a matching trim kit for a built-in look.

And yes, we thought of everything: a Blaze rollout trash and recycling drawer and a vertical access door beneath the sink make cleanup just as easy as prep.

The Pizza Oven Touch

The homeowner added a personal flair by supplying their own Gozney Arc XL Pizza Oven, and we were happy to accommodate. We prepped the countertop with a 1-inch propane access hole, supplied a 20lb LP tank, and performed a full leak test-ensuring everything was ready to fire up from day one.

Aesthetic That Speaks for Itself

Of course, design matters just as much as function-and this kitchen delivers on both fronts.

The facade and backsplash are finished in MSI’s Alaska Gray multi-finish stacked stone, giving the space texture and timeless style. The countertops? A striking Level 4 Paradiso White granite, with a polished 3/8″ roundover edge and a matching 8″ granite backsplash.

It’s a finish that feels luxurious but still fits seamlessly into the Florida lifestyle.
