The granite and stone combination selected for this outdoor kitchen is truly stunning and fit for a model!  The granite is a level 5 Blue Pearl and the stone is a special order Arctic White honed variety.

This outdoor kitchen is the new Pulte community Caymas in Naples, FL on Collier Blvd, just north of Rattlesnake Hammock.

In this kitchen we installed the following components:

We recently had the pleasure of designing and installing a stunning outdoor kitchen in the Esplanade by the Islands community, specifically in a Lazio model home with an extended lanai. This project beautifully showcases the elegance of Winter Wood Granite, a high-end, level 6 granite with a leather finish that adds a touch of sophistication to any outdoor space.

Project Overview: Esplanade by the Islands Outdoor Kitchen

Located in a beautiful neighborhood, this outdoor kitchen was designed to maximize functionality while seamlessly blending with the aesthetics of the surrounding architecture. The kitchen layout features an L-shaped cabinet base, measuring 9’6” along the wall with the rough-in and extending 8’0” outward from the wall. This configuration not only maximizes countertop space but also offers a welcoming area for guests to gather.

For added convenience and comfort, the kitchen includes a 10-inch overhang off the back of the 8-foot cabinet, providing ample space for bar seating. The right side of the cabinet features a rounded overhang, designed to create a more ergonomic and visually appealing space, with a 1-inch overhang at the corners and a 10-inch overhang at the center.

At Elegant Outdoor Kitchens, we take immense pride in our referral-based business. When former customers refer their family members to us, it’s a true honor. This latest project, a beautiful summer kitchen and wet bar, came to life through a valued customer referral!

Project Overview in Palmira Golf & Country Club

This summer kitchen and wet bar were crafted in the long-established community of Palmira Golf & Country Club in Bonita Springs. The project was part of a larger renovation that included an expanded lanai, a new pool cage, the addition of two block walls, and an insulated panel roof. While we didn’t handle these additional aspects, it demonstrates that even older homes with less-than-ideal lanais can be transformed to create the perfect outdoor living space.

The original area behind the sink buffet and grill cabinet was a simple screen enclosure. By adding two block walls, we were able to enclose the space effectively. Insulated panels can also be used as an alternative to block walls. Additionally, the roof above the grill cabinet, previously just a screen, was replaced with insulated panels by the customer’s contractor, creating a solid roof covering.

The result? A transformation from a small, under-cover lanai to a spacious, functional area perfect for outdoor living, all without the need to move! We hope the customer enjoys their new summer kitchen for many years to come.

Elegant Finishes and Functional Design

Both cabinets in the summer kitchen are finished with rugged Golden White stacked stone, providing a rich, traditional aesthetic. The customer selected level 1 Uba Tuba granite for the countertops, featuring a sleek pencil edge. Uba Tuba granite is an excellent choice for outdoor kitchens due to its versatility, consistency, and the clean, crisp look it offers.

The grill cabinet, measuring 11’11” in length, includes the following components:

The wet bar is 6’2″ in length with the following items installed:

  • Under mount sink
  • Delta faucet
  • Blaze 32” double doors (under sink)
  • There was a hose bib that was mounted in the wall on the right.  We did not want to frame enclose it in the cabinet, which would have made it unusable.  So we relocated it to the left side of the cabinet base.

White Oak Multi-Face Stacked Stone Enhances Lanai Appeal

This 8’10” outdoor kitchen was built in a Prosperity floorplan by Del Webb in the master planned, and one of a kind, community Ave Maria.  In this kitchen we installed the White Oak multi-face stacked stone.  This is the same stone that we used in DiVosta’s Stellar model at Terreno.  If you would like to view kitchens that we have built in person to see a variety of selections, visit this link for more info.  Keeping with a contemporary style, this customer paired the White Oak stone with a level 3 Ocean Beige granite.

Fresh Spring in Verandah by Neal Communities

This 8’0” outdoor kitchen was built in the Verandah Golf.  The home was built by Neal Communities in one of their Fresh Spring floorplans.  The stacked stone color choice was the Diana Royal.  We have lots of stacked stone choices to choose from.  If you are interested in seeing all of them, click here.  The granite selection was the Brown Fantasy, which is a level 3 granite.  This customer selected the 3/8″ roundover edge for the countertop.  Granite selections are ever changing, but to get an idea of some levels and colors that we have done in the past, click here.

Came and Gone – The Ballad of Calcita Blue granite

While we loved the Calcita Blue granite, it was a rare find that quickly came and went. We were fortunate to build two stunning outdoor kitchens using this exquisite granite before the supply dwindled. In this particular project, the Calcita Blue granite was paired beautifully with Arctic White stacked stone, creating a perfect combination of elegance and durability.  This L-shaped outdoor kitchen was designed for a Mystique floor plan by Pulte in Verdana Village. The layout includes a 9’3” cabinet along the wall with the rough-in and extends 7’6” away from the wall, maximizing both space and functionality. Packed with high-end features, this kitchen allows the homeowner to cook a wide variety of dishes outdoors, making it the envy of the neighborhood.

Outdoor Kitchen in Pulte Layton Grande model in Verdana Village

This 8’10” outdoor kitchen has a modern flare with the straight lines of the True Flame components, stucco finish and the movement in the granite countertop.   This kitchen also features the pyramid style hood by Trade-Wind.  It’s the same hood system that we normally use, but the shroud is a little more feminine than the hood we typically use.  With the pyramid hood, you don’t have as much tolerance for shifting the grill to the right or the left.  With the pyramid hoods, you have to plan on centering your hood, and thus the grill, directly underneath the existing vent stack.  So although the pyramid hoods are pretty, they are sometimes not as functional if we are short on space.
